Liberty Richardson

Licensed Associate counselor

Liberty earned her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University, a CACREP accredited program and is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) under the supervision of Samuel Bryant, LPC. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College.

Before pursuing her degree in counseling, Liberty spent six years teaching High School English and Philosophy while coaching varsity sports. That work, coupled with her experience as the oldest of eleven children, has fostered in her a love for youth and an affinity for working with children and adolescents.

Liberty has experience working with male and female clients of all ages. She specializes in working with couples, mothers and those suffering from postpartum anxiety/depression, miscarriage and child loss. She also has experience working with children as young as five utilizing play therapy techniques.

Liberty’s Catholic faith is of the utmost importance to her and plays an integral role in the way she views her clients. She holds true that all people are made by God for divine and human love and that they are each inherently dignified and worthy of respect. She strives to cultivate a loving and inviting environment which helps facilitate an authentic relationship which contributes to growth and healing.

Liberty has been married to her husband, Mark, for six years and they have four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching/playing sports, listening to music and reading. She loves being a mother and finds immense joy and fulfillment in watching her children grow and experience the world around them.
