Henry Rott, LAC
Licensed associate counselor
Henry received his Masters in Counseling Psychology at the University of North Dakota, and his Bachelors in Psychology also at the University of North Dakota. Henry has worked with various populations ranging from adults in drug rehabilitation, to children and adolescents in a school and non-school setting. Henry is very engaged within his community and has led bible studies, created disciples, worked as an advisor and coach for his fraternity as well as advocating for college students who struggle with mental health.
Henry’s goal is to help everyone become the best version of themselves. Having primarily worked with children and adolescents, he believes that making sure that the youth are optimistic and excited about their future is the first step in creating a better society.
Henry uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Emotion Focused Therapy. His faith plays an integral role in his therapeutic role and he believes that we can allow the Holy Spirit to work through us to help those who are struggling, just as God used his saints to go and preach the gospel.
In his free time, he enjoys camping, fishing, weightlifting, martial arts, hockey and reading. He loves spending time outdoors as it brings peace into his life.
